I love how this uniquely uses the medium (ie high res up close screens). Regarding your postscript, I actually like the lack of voicing, it just shows how strong the visual storytelling is.

Reminding the viewer of IE is a pretty cheap jump scare. Other than that, a pretty good cursed media piece.
